Why We Have These Policies?

At The Nail Muse, you receive personalised, one-to-one attention during every appointment. These policies help us protect your dedicated time slot and ensure every client gets the quality experience they deserve.

By respecting these policies, you help us continue offering the high-quality, attentive service at the highest standards that set The Nail Muse apart. We are committed to giving you our absolute best – these guidelines simply ensure we can keep doing that sustainably.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are available for purchase and make the perfect present for someone special.

How to Purchase:

  • Digital vouchers can be purchased online via Fresha (delivered via email)

  • Physical printed vouchers can be purchased in the salon during opening hours

  • Minimum voucher value: £20

Gift Voucher Terms:

  • Vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase

  • They can be redeemed against any service at The Nail Muse

  • Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash

  • Any remaining balance can be used toward future appointments within the validity period

  • Lost or stolen vouchers cannot be replaced

  • Please present your voucher at the time of booking

Promotional Voucher Terms:

  • Promotional vouchers apply to full-price services only

  • Cannot be combined with other special offers or discounts

  • One promotional voucher per appointment

Booking & Deposits

Every appointment at The Nail Muse requires a deposit to secure your time slot.

How it works:

  • When you book, you'll receive an email with a payment link for your deposit

  • Deposits must be paid within 24 hours of booking

  • Unpaid bookings will be automatically cancelled and the slot offered to another client

  • Your deposit will be deducted from your final treatment cost

Deposit Policy

  • Deposits are non-refundable. This protects the time reserved exclusively for you

  • Deposits can be transferred. If you need to reschedule with at least 48 hours' notice, your deposit moves to your new appointment

  • Deposits cannot be transferred more than twice

  • After two transfers, the deposit is forfeited and a new deposit will be required for future bookings

  • Rescheduling with less than 48 hours' notice forfeits your deposit

We understand life can be unpredictable, which is why we offer flexible rescheduling when you give us enough notice.

Refund Policy

Deposits paid online are non-refundable but may be transferred according to the transfer rules above. Refunds are not issued even when cancelling with notice – you may only transfer your deposit to a future appointment.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

We require at least 48 hours' notice for any changes or cancellations to your appointment.

With 48+ hours notice:

  • You may reschedule your appointment free of charge

  • Your deposit transfers to your new booking date

Less than 48 hours notice:

  • You will be charged 50% of the appointment cost

Late arrivals:

  • Please arrive on time for your appointment

  • Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may need to be rescheduled

  • Late arrivals cannot extend into the next client's time slot

  • The appointment fee still applies

No-shows:

If you fail to attend your scheduled appointment without notice, you will be charged the full appointment cost.

  • Payment must be made within 7 days of the missed appointment

  • If payment is not received, your next booking will require payment of the standard service price plus the outstanding no-show charge before the appointment can be confirmed

  • Repeated no-shows may result in being unable to book future appointments

We take no-shows seriously as they prevent other clients from accessing that time slot and directly impact our ability to serve you and others.

Age Policy

The Nail Muse is an 18+ only studio.

Children Policy

Children cannot be present during appointments.

We completely understand that childcare can be challenging, especially during school holidays. However, for the safety and comfort of all clients, only the person receiving treatment may be present in the studio during their appointment.

This policy exists because:

  • We work with professional-grade equipment and chemicals that pose safety risks

  • Our appointments require precision and a calm environment

  • The studio space is designed for one-to-one appointments only

  • Insurance and liability considerations

If you're unable to attend without your child, please contact us to arrange an alternative appointment time that works better for you. We're always happy to help find a solution.
